The Bergen County Board of Taxation has directed the Borough of Oakland to undertake a Complete Reassessment Program beginning with the tax year 2022 and continuing through 2026. This program will ensure uniform and equitable assessments throughout the municipality, account for recent changes in the real estate market, and significantly reduce future costly tax appeals. The Borough has contracted with Associated Appraisal Group, Inc. to assist in conducting the Reassessment Program.
Associated Appraisal Group Inc. has made a complete analysis of all recent market data in order to accomplish this task and determine the value of all properties as of October 1, 2021. The market analysis of your property has been arrived at in accordance with the rules and regulations mandated by the State of New Jersey.
Value Letters are being mailed beginning on Friday, February 11, 2022
